I had a cracking time in Talybont-on-Usk! The breakfast was top-notch, with homemade sausage and bacon baguettes to fuel my hiking adventures. Plus, the room was immaculate, bursting with little goodies like biscuits and a fab selection of teas and coffees. The warm welcome I received made me feel right at home, a real gem in the Beacons!
Now, don’t get me wrong, I loved my stay, but the lack of dining options nearby had me driving out for grub, and my room was a tad chilly at first. Clearly, they were being savvy with the heating, but it didn't take away from the overall shine of the experience.

Great getaway in Talybont-on-Usk 🌄
What a jol! We loved how fresh everything smelled when we walked in. The room was packed with everything we needed—proper coffees, biscuits, and even bubble bath! And brekkie was on point, especially those bacon baguettes they sorted for us before our hike. Steve and Sam really made us feel at home!
Only bummer was not enough time to enjoy brekkie properly on the first day with the early hike.

I recently had a wonderful two-night escape in Talybont-on-Usk. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, with Steve and Sam being fantastic hosts who made us feel right at home. The room was spotless and came with a delightful surprise of biscuits and a robust selection of teas and coffees. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a superb spread with fresh ingredients that fueled my adventures in the Brecon Beacons. If I had to mention an area for improvement, it would be the lack of dining options nearby, but the charming experience made it all worth it.
